About Me

Asupremeshot is Debbie Ellis. I’m a Manchester-based photographer. I have 7 years of very extensive experience in music, editorial, portrait, headshots and fashion photography http://www.asupremeshot.com/

I have my own spacious studio in Stockport which is also available to hire.

My work was recently featured in Blossoms documentary ‘Back to Stockport’ & has been published in  i-d, N.M.E. GQ, The Guardian, The Independent, Viva Manchester, Drapers, Bido Lito, Loaded, City Life, Time Out, Manchester Evening News and many online publications.

I have invested most of my time in to music and I was in a band myself called ‘Sister Lovers’  In 2016 I appeared in the ‘Supersonic’ documentary. I recall the time I invited Oasis to play at King Tuts the night they got signed by Alan McGee… and the rest as they say is history!

In November 2018 I was honoured to have 2 of my band images selected as part of a prolific music photography exhibition at Manchester Central Library entitled ‘There Is A Light That never Goes Out.’ The exhibition features such luminaries as Jill Furmanovsky, Kevin Cummins, Ed Sirrs and Paul Slatery.
